What’s Up With Free Microcosm Screenings!?

Hey all Stop That Nun peeps,

It’s Erik Cieslewicz to talk to you about the exciting news that Microcosm is going to be streaming for free on this web-site in less than two weeks. If you’re a subscriber to our podcast, fan of us on Facebook or subscribe to our YouTube channel, you’re already in the know thanks a new trailer we released.

November 6th marks a year since we released Microcosm on DVD, it’s the first release of a film we’ve done on DVD and it was a really exciting process. During that time Microcosm screened in festivals and drew a good amount of press in Wisconsin. It’s been awesome to see so much come of this film as we continue to hone our craft and get better at making movies you want to see. So in honor of all of this, we’re giving all of you that don’t have money for things like movies, video games or food a chance to see the film for free.

Be sure to check back on this page at midnight EST on Thursday night and you’ll find it here, waiting for you. Or just subscribe to the podcast and iTunes (or whatever your podcast program is) will download it for you automatically.

We’re still selling the DVD, it’s the only way you’ll be able to get great stuff like the director commentary and blooper reel and the DVD version of the film is, of course, a much higher quality than what we’ll be be streaming. But we’re knocking down the price as low as our distributor will allow us to, $7. In fact, the film is $7 right now, so take advantage of that. It’s only a matter of time before we pull it down all together.

If you haven’t seen it before, I’d love to hear what you think. If you have, see if it stands up at all, or if you see something you missed the first time around.
